A delegation of 79 people organized by
the Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food
Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CNSA) investigated in
Vietnam from 17th to 21st November
2016.
In the evening of Nov. 17, the
delegation was warmly received by the Vietnam
Macadamia Association (VMA) in Hanoi. Both parties
exchanged information on the status quo and future trend of nuts industry of
China and Vietnam as well as other countries in the world. In addition,
enterprises of the two countries communicated with each other and negotiated
business cooperation with gratifying results. They wish both China and Vietnam
greater progress in nuts industry.
On Nov. 18, the delegation visited coffee plantations, macadamia seedling base, macadamia plantations in Buon Me Thuot, getting an onsite understanding of seedling, planting and earnings of macadamia.
On Nov. 20, the CNSA delegation led by the leader Yu Ruifang
arrived Bình Phước
Province of Vietnam and visited cashew nuts processing enterprises there. They
had a cordial talk with vice chairman of Vietnam Cashew Association. It is
understood that Vietnam’sannual cashew output is 500,000-600,000
tons, and China ranks the third in cashew imports, accounting for 18-20% of its total cashew output.
After successfully completing investigation tasks, the
delegation of China nuts and roasted seeds industry to Vietnam
returned China from Ho Chi Minh City on Nov. 21. All members of the delegation
said that have come back with fruitful results in spirit, career and material
aspects. We believe that the results of this investigation will drive the
development of nuts and roasted seeds industry and enterprises in China
