The 2016 Council Meeting and The Fourth Award-giving Meeting for National Nut Science and Technology Progress Award organized by Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CNSA was held in Longzhou county, Guangxi province, from Nov. 14 to Nov.16 2016. This council was hosted by Longzhou county government. The chairman, standing vice-chairman, vice-chairman of CNSA and all council members were present at the meeting. Over 500 people attended the meeting, including the heads of government departments of Longzhou county, the heads of departments concerned as well as the leaders of enterprises; nuts and roasted seeds associations (Chambers of Commerce) of each province, city and county; \representatives of enterprises participating in Sept. 17 Nuts Day, 2016, representatives of award winners, advanced scientific and technical workers and representatives who won the title of “excellent technical worker” of the 4th Nut Science and Technology Progress Award; and representatives of nuts and roasted seeds associations and enterprises in  America, Australia, Vietnam and other countries.
