In recent years, with development of trade in Xinjiang Boarder and vigorous domestic market demand, the import volume of pine nuts in South Xinjiang Port increases year by year. According to statistical data of Kashgar Customs, during January to November 2016, South Port imported 116000t goods with trade volume of 765 Million Yuan, increasing 93.3% and 19.8% respectively than the previous year, in which, pine nut imported 4072.37ton with value of RMB 164 Million Yuan, accounting for 21.44% of total import volume in the same period. Pine nuts import successfully surpasses animal hides and skins, ranks the first of imported goods in South Xinjiang, and becomes the major commodities driving rapid growth of import volume in South Xinjiang.
