The new year of Rooster arrives. 2017 must be a year with good harvest.

On the occasion of the New Year, the new core team of the Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food Industry Association hereby extends our sincere wishes to colleagues of China nuts and roasted seeds industry. We wish you and your family a satisfactory work, smooth career and pleasant family.

Spring comes back and a new year begins. Everyone is celebrating the New Year. Looking back of 2016, China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry experienced hard work, cooperation, busyness and happiness. In that year, the economic development of the entire industry in China faced significant and strategic opportunity, as well as strict challenges with numerous contradictions. We insisted on innovation, worked together and actively sought for market by pulling-through courage and intelligence to make product structure regulation as breakthrough of innovation and transformation, and develop suitable products through market survey so as to meet consumption demands of new normal market. The entire industry gained favorable performance and trend for comprehensive and sustainable development.

In the meantime, under leadership of Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food Industry Association (CNSA), the entire industry successfully held the 10th China Roasted Seeds and Nuts, Foods & Ingredients, Equipment and Packaging Exhibition & 2016 China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry Annual Meeting, which actively pushed exhibition and summary of results and experiences grained by China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry; In September, the first “Sep. 17 China Nuts Health Day” was started in worldwide nuts industry. This event advocated and popularized nutrition knowledge of “a handful of nuts and seeds a day is benefit for your health”, and led the public to create scientific and reasonable consumption and diet structure and gain benefits. In only one week, nearly 100 Million people participated in the first event. The event gained unprecedented success and vast social influence as a milestone.

What is particularly noteworthy is that on the New Year’s Day, China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry’s core industry team finished change of term of office. In the “2016 Council Meeting of China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry” held in Longzhou, Guangxi in the end of the year, three executive presidents were elected under new mode and new mechanism. They respectively area Mr. Yu Ruifang, the Chairman of Zhejiang Dahaoda Foods Co., Ltd. who is of noble character and high prestige; Ms. Chen Dongmei, Director of Qiaqia Food Co., Ltd. who is a well-known woman entrepreneurs; and Mr. Zhang Liaoyuan, founder of Three Squirrels who is young and promising, and brave in and good at innovation. The excellent “old, middle-aged and young” integrating core team can bring advantages of the three presents to full play. Meanwhile, the new executive presidents represent willingness and appeal of the entire industry. Therefore, once the new team is selected, they are warmly supported by the entire industry with great expectations and hopes.

In order to meet expectations and undertake missions and responsibilities of the industry, the new Executive President Yu Ruifang delivered inaugural speech on behalf of the team in the council meeting, and took the lead to make oath of office to the entire industry. They made sincere commitment to the entire industry:  

Dear leaders, council members and representatives, Good Morning!

In the meeting, Chen Dongmei, Zhang Liaoyuan and I are elected as and passed resolution about executive presidents of CNSA. I hereby, on behalf of our team, express our sincere gratitude to all members and the industry for your trust and support. For us, the post is not only recognition and acceptance of individuals, but also the great trust and hope of the industry and all council members for us. More importantly, it is the responsibility and mission that we must take to develop China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Industry and develop China from a large power to a great power of world nuts and roasted seeds industry. Therefore, now I lead the entire president team to solemnly and sincerely read out the oath of office.

I promise,

I will meet expectations of the industry, strive to perform my duty, and unify colleagues to develop jointly;

I will take the responsibility, dedicate in and contribute to the industry, and take the mission to maintain reputation and image of the industry.
