A piece of good news comes from Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the “Shuangfeng” Chinese torreya applied by Huangtan Town Government, Ninghai County, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province officially acquires certification of protected eco-origin products by China (PEOP), and is allowed to use the logo of PEOP. “Shuangfeng” Chinese torreya has a national level new card, which will effectively improve brand awareness and market benefits of Chinese torreya brand in Ningbo.

It is known that this is the first product in Chinese torreya industry in China to apply for PEOP. By applying for eco-origin products protection, Huangtan Town, Ninghai County of Ningbo further improves the industrial development mode of “cooperatives + enterprises + base + farmers + standards+ brands”, and will drive over 1500 farmers in Shuangfeng Mountain area to develop Chinese torreya plantation and get rich.
