Global Soybean Output May Reach a New High

In this year, China will insist on reform direction of market pricing, price-subsidy separation, diversified entities for important agricultural products such as grain, and continue to implement and perfect market-oriented purchase and subsidy mechanism for corns in Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning, as well as Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; meanwhile regulate target price policy of soybeans and implement market-oriented purchase and subsidy mechanism. In the recent “14th China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference 2017” organized by Beijing Jingugao Technology Co., Ltd. and undertaken by www.fao.com.cn, persons from authorized departments, inside exerts and marketing personnel exchanged and discussed focused problems of the oil and oilseeds industry.

Liu Xianwu, the Chairman of www.fao.com.cn said that in this year the supply and demand of international oils and oilseeds market, and prices kept dropping. So far, the outputs of soybeans in the Southern Hemisphere including Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay are expected to increase, while planting area of soybeans in America, the Northern Hemisphere is expected to increase. The supply of global soybeans tends to be relieved. Thus, without extreme weather, the output of soybeans in this year may make a historically high record.
