On April 1, CFDA (China Food and Drug Administration) released
“Several Regulations on Food Safety Traceability System of Food Production and
Operation Enterprises” to require food production and operation enterprises
establishing food safety traceability system, objectively, effectively and
authentically recording and saving food quality safety information, realizing
food quality safety system with consequent follow-up, reversal traceability,
controllable risk, product recovery in case of quality or safety problems,
recognizable causes, and traceable responsibilities so as to implement main
responsibilities for quality and safety, and guarantee food quality and safety.
