On July 5, the “First Members Meeting & Summit Forum of China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development League Peanuts Branch” organized by Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CNSA), and undertaken by China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development League Peanuts Branch and Yantai Maoyuan Food Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was held smoothly in Grand New Century Hotel Yantai China in Qixia City, Shandong Province.

In the meeting, Jiang Nianbo, Secretary General of China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development League Peanuts Branch, made detailed introduction to current status of peanut industry in China, peanut deep processing and process technology. Jiang said China has started growing peanuts since ancient time. The plantation area and output ranks top in the world for a long time. The industrial chain is mature. Peanuts are bulk products with large output and income from sales in nuts and seeds industry in China. Under new circumstances of innovation and transformation, the peanut industry in China should innovate operating ideas, gather powers and build China from a country with large peanut output to a great power of peanut.

China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development League is founded in April this year. The Peanuts Branch, under leadership of CNSA, has actively worked in scientific breeding, plantation, production data, equipment, and industrial chain of processing, business retail, and marketing, and gained remarkable effect. Thus, it is praised and welcomed by the industry and enterprises. The first members meeting & summit forum held aims to develop China to a great power of peanuts.
