Lately, the expert estimated in the INC conference held in India that the global production quantity of the nuts including the almond, Amazonas – Brazil nut, hazelnut, Chinese walnut, walnut, pistachio nut, macadimia nut, pine nut and cashew nut were 4,200,000 tons with the average growth rate of 25% compared to that of ten years ago. Of which, the growth rate of the hazel was the largest. Its quantity increased to almost 480,000 tons with the growth rate as 20%. Of which, Turkey had the largest increase quantity, accounting for 70% worldwide.
