82 food & food-related standards will be implemented
since December. Of which, 19 national standards, 59 industrial standards and 4
local standards are included
Among 19 national standards, the national food safety standards of 18
food-related hygienic codes such as GB
31641-2016 Hygienic Code for Flight Food, GB 18524-2016 Hygienic Code for Food Irradiation Processing and so
on will be implemented since December 23. While GB/T 33807-2017 Detection of Genetically Modified Components in Maize -
Gene Chip Method, the recommendatory national standard, will be implemented
since December 1.
It’s noteworthy that GB
31641-2016 Hygienic Code for Flight Food is the first state-level fight
food safety standard in China.
The implementation of such standard not only fills the gap of the flight food
supervision standard but also makes the production of the flight food industry
has the legal basis. In the meantime, such standard defines the safety
responsibilities which shall be borne by the airline companies, which is of
great significance for the health & safety guarantee of entry-exit
passengers, especially for the long-term development of the aviation industry.
59 industrial standards implemented since this month
include 26 industrial standards for entry-exit inspection & quarantine and
33 grain standards. It is reported that 26 industrial standards for entry-exit
inspection & quarantine will be implemented since December 1 and 33 grain
standards will be implemented since December 20.
In addition, 4 local standards will be implemented since
December 1.
