The nut and dried fruit delegation organized by our association on behalf of China participated in the World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress held in Spain from 21-23, May,2018.

A total of more than 1500 people including growers, processing enterprises, traders and machinery enterprises, etc. attended this three-day conference, which analyzed the planting, yield and export sales of almond kernels, Brazil nuts, green nuts, pistachios, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pine seeds, peanuts and dried fruit in 2017 and 2018, and predicted the planting and output in the second half of 2018 and 2019.

During the congress, our delegation, bearing the heavy responsibility of all the colleagues in the nuts and coasted seeds industry of China and making great efforts to succeed in its mission, carried out extensive exchanges with California Almond Association of the United States, the Australian Nuts Grower Association of  South Africa, the Australian Nuts Association of Australia, and the associations and enterprise representatives from the United States, South Africa, Australia, India, Vietnam, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and other foreign associations and enterprise representatives, presented the grateful bearing and style of the nuts and fried seeds of China on the world stage. Associations and enterprises in various countries expressed their optimistic view towards the China market and their willingness to further strengthen the cooperation with our association and Chinese enterprises.

Our association also invited foreign counterparts to participate in the 9.17 China Nuts Health Week Conference held by China in September, and the China nuts and fried seeds exhibition 2019.

Meanwhile, the World Nuts and Dried Fruit Association also attaches great importance to the development of China nuts industry. During the conference, Mr. Pino Calcagni, vice president of INC, met with the major members of the delegation, and highly appraised the development of China nuts industry and the contribution made by China to the development of the world nuts industry. Mr. Pino also introduced the operation mode of INC to the delegation.

Yang Qian, the Secretary General of the association, introduced to Mr.Pino, the vice president, the framework of our association, the related activities of its organization, and the current situation and development trend of the nuts and fried seeds industry of China. Meanwhile, I also told Mr. Pino that as a member of the world's largest nuts market, and a member of INC, we hope to be more involved in the activities of INC, to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with INC and other countries in the world and play our part in the world nuts industry. Mr. Pino also agreed.

Mr. Pino expressed that he will visit China in June. We are looking forward to INC's visit to China. China is leading the way in the world nuts industry.
