On July 10, Aksu Municipal People’s Government and Hangzhou Zhejiang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. entered into agreement about walnut deep processing project with total investment of RMB200 Million Yuan. Qi Jianguo, the Deputy Secretary General of CPC Hangzhou Party Committee and Director of Hangzhou Agriculture Office (Overall Planning Office), Wang Chong, Director General of Hangzhou Investment Promotion Bureau, Pan Mochou, Deputy Director of Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission and Targeted Support Office, Wulamujiang ·Reyimu, the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Mayor of Aksu, Yang Guozheng, Deputy Secretary of Aksu Party Committee and Commander of Hangzhou Xinjiang Assistance Command Center, Zhou Hua, Standing Party Committee Member of and Deputy Mayor of Aksu, and Yang Haifeng, Deputy Major of Aksu People’s Government attended the signing ceremony.

This project will introduce two automatic production lines for walnut size classification and weight sorting; seven full automatic production lines for walnut shell crushing, shucking and shelling; one set of walnut kernel color selection and classification system; two full automatic deep processing production lines for physical shelling of walnut kernels; and four sets of full automatic packing device. The Phase I project will be built and officially put into production in September this year, and Phase II project will finish investing and put into production in two years.

In the production season of 2018, the enterprise plans to purchase 5000t walnut raw materials, and produce 1500t walnut products, 1000t walnut kernels and 500t snacks – unshelled walnut kernels. The output of RMB 110 million and tax of RMB 11 million is expected to be realized. After the project is fully completed, the expected annual walnut processing shall be 20,000t, and output will reach RMB 500 million Yuan, tax will reach RMB 50 million Yuan. It may drive over 5000 farmers in Aksu to increase income and directly offer job opportunities to over 500 people.
