In order to further strengthen international exchange and cooperation, ceaselessly improve development level of world sunflower industry, jointly discussed development strategies of the sunflower seed industry, and promote healthy and sustainable development of the industry, the “2018 World Sunflower Industry Development Forum & Hetao Sunflower Tourism and Culture Festival” will be held from Aug. 8- Aug. 10, 2018 in Wuyuan County, Inner Mongolia, the base of China sunflower industry under co-organization of International Sunflower Association, Bayannur Municipal People’s Government, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Tourism Development Commission and CNSA (China Sunflower Association) and undertaking of Wuyuan County People’s Government, Bayannur Tourism Development Commission and Sanrui Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. This is the first and the largest international conference focusing on edible sunflowers.

The topic of this event is “Hetao Sunflower Shared by the World”. The conference aims to establish a platform and carrier for trade negotiation, business attraction and recommendation, mayors’ forum, enterprise advertising, product display, tour and sightseeing, as well as visit and investigation, and promote better exchange, negotiation and cooperation between domestic and overseas entrepreneurs and personages of all circles. By then, over 200 people including the top scientific research experts, seeding enterprises and celebrities of politics and business from over 20 countries will gather in the ancient town, Wuyuan County, and jointly discuss the development plan of the global sunflower industry.

The industrial forum will carry out discussion and exchange about conventional breeding, molecular breeding of edible sunflower seed, damage of disease, commodity market development and consumer market prediction, and aim to share the cutting-edge achievements of technology, push new breakthrough of the industry and better usher in and lead the new round development of the sunflower industry.
