In the China Nuts Health Week opening on Sept. 17, the well-known snack food service provider, BeStore, released new product of sunflower seeds “Kekexiang”. The selling price per 500g is as double as that in common roasted seeds stores. The re-matching for product design and customer orientation of BeStore lies behind the high premium.

BeStore’s first “Kekexiang” sunflower seeds products which realize whole supply chain system upgrading “from raw materials to products” will be launched officially by the end of September.

It is learned that BeStore puts forward two requirements for raw material providers. The first is to sow seeds with far distance, and the planting distance and line spacing shall increase 20cm respectively; the second is to fully apply organic biomass fertilizers and farmyard manure. The final sunflower seeds will be divided into three grades according to sizes. Only the first grade products can be the raw materials of BeStore. About 20% of 100kg raw materials conform to such standard. The final form may be summarized as: large and full size; fragrant taste; complete nut. After ten links including place of origin selection, seeding, cultivation, harvest, separation, storage, transportation, production, quality inspection and finished product delivery, every “Kekexiang” sunflower seed contains a “password” for quality upgrading and realizes the quality upgrading of the entire supply chain system from raw materials to products.
