Recently, China Southern Airlines successfully sent totally 3025kg pine nuts from Pakistan to cities like Hangzhou. Later, large amount of pine nuts will be sent to Urumqi and Hangzhou successively.

Pakistan pine nuts are popular due to large size, thin shell, sweet taste and convenient shelling. It has high nutrient and medical value. One may eat pine nuts frequently to nourish Yin and moisten lung, and prevent CVD. It is a fine nut in autumn and winter.  

Now it is the harvest season for pine nuts in Pakistan. The country imports fresh pine nuts in large amount internationally and needs to send to mainland China in time. It requires highly for time limit. In order to meet demands of the consignor, China Southern Airlines “customizes” the transportation plan. Firstly, the goods will take CZ6008 airline from Islamabad to Urumqi, and arrive in the afternoon the same day. After handling customs procedures, the goods will be sent to Hangzhou via the airline next morning and arrive on that day. After being deeply processed in processing workshops in Hangzhou, the pine nuts will be sold to major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

In order to reach the perfect linkage of the entire process, China Southern Cargo adopts the way of “warehouse-to-warehouse”. It is unnecessary for the consignor to pick up the goods, but the pine nuts will be handed over by staff between international and domestic warehouse so as to save time greatly. After the airline from Islamabad to Urumqi arrives, each department and each post shall link and cooperate with each other. Firstly, T control reserves freight space for pine nuts; secondly, the international staff rapidly hand over relevant documents such as cargo certificate to the consignor, and then handling staff arrange the pine nuts neatly, count the cargo package number and fix cargos; then the keeper and international staff shall hand goods over, and count package number and weight; after that, the goods will be sent to the preserved air flight through entire process cargo tracking system.
