A few days ago, at the macadamia nut on-site work promotion meeting held in Nanning, Guangxi, relevant officials of Nanning forestry and gardens bureau proposed that Nanning will vigorously promote the planting of macadamia nuts and further implement the plan of planting macadamia nuts. The implementation period is 2019-2028, and the planting task will be completed in 10 years. The plan is to plant 100,000 mu each year, and the area of newly planted macadamia nut forest will be 1 million mu in 10 years.

It has unique natural conditions for large-scale development of macadamia nut planting and has great advantages and potential for industrial development. Macadamia nut industry has social, economic and ecological benefits, and has broad market development prospects. at present, about 50,000 mu of macadamia nuts have been planted in Liangqing District, Qingxiu District, Binyang County, Hengxian County, Mashan County and other counties and districts, certain of which have successfully borne fruit and are beginning to bear fruit. The conditions for Nanning to promote the planting of macadamia nuts are ripe.
