At the 2018 annual shareholders’ meeting of
Qiaqia Food held last Friday, the Company Chairman Chen Xianbao pointed out
that, the Company would fully position the nut field and make a decision to
“all in nuts” to upgrade and enrich the product categories and brands of the
nut industry.
The core area of the
cover page of the 2018 Qiaqia Annual Food Report has been printed with the slogan
Focus on the Nut Quality for 20 Years, instead of the slogan Happy Taste from
the previous years. From this point of view, Qiaqia is trying to differentiate
itself from its competitors and push the Company to change from the
product-driven to brand-driven.
From
the “Melon Seeds” to Emphasizing “Nuts”
There is no home for the
nuts fried. In fact, common nuts may be generally divided into two types: One
is seeds, such as the sunflower seeds, cushaw seeds, peanuts, etc. The other is
tree nuts, such as the pecan and Hawaiian fruits.
Therefore, Chen Xianbao
stressed that, the move is not a “transformation”, but rather a clearer
“positioning” of the Company, focusing on the “nut making”. “Qiaqia Quality
Assurance means Quality Assurance”, improve the R&D capability and
intelligent manufacturing of new products, continuously refine operating costs,
and realize the value-added, efficient, flexible and safe supply chain
services. As for the control over the upstream, the Company insists on the
fresh strategy of “fresh from the source”, increases the control over the
upstream, continuously promotes the overseas direct harvest of nuts, improves
the freshness, and relies on the Thai factories and future overseas raw
material planting bases to realize the overseas direct supply of overseas
products, reduce the supply radius and improve the freshness.
