On July 2, as the largest enterprise in the snack food industry, Bestore,
centering at high-end strategy, announced to reach strategic partnership with
iTi (International Taste Institute) to ask more than 200 Michelin chefs to give
suggestions on product research and development of Bestore. In the previous
year, Bestore won two food prizes in Brussels, Belgium and Rome, Italy.
The top awards in the food industry are: Monde Selection Gold Award, Superior
Taste Award and World Food Innovation Award. Nonetheless, no snack food brand
has won any of the world top food awards before Bestore.
Totally 1885 products won the Superior Taste Awards, including 513
one-star products, 1020 two-star products and 352 three-star products. However,
prize-winning products from China only account for 5%.
Bestore’s pursuing
transformation revise the opinions of international market on Chinese
enterprises. In the Superior Taste Award on June 24, Bestore won eight prizes
including one three-star, two two-star and five one-star prizes. In the Monde Selection Gold Award a few days earlier, Bestore won 4 gold prizes,
13 silver prizes and 6 copper prizes, totally 23 prizes. The prize-winning
products contain crisp winter jujube, Dui Dui Xia and dried pork slices, etc.
Winning prizes is not the most important thing. The Judging Panel of Superior
Taste Award will submit a detailed report for every applying product. Zhao
Gang, the Vice President of Bestore saw the opportunity for in-depth
cooperation from that.
On July 2, in the awarding ceremony of Superior Taste Award held in Shanghai, Bestore and ITI announced to reach strategic cooperation.
