The Nuts and Seeds Food Quality Grade (Series) Group Standards (T/CNFIA 005 - 2019) drafted and formulated under organization of CNSA, covering 10 products, are released recently upon approval of China Food Industry Association and will be implemented from Sept. 1, 2019.

The Nuts and Seeds Food Quality Grade (Series) Group Standards (T/CNFIA 005 - 2019) regulate quality grade requirements, inspection method, inspection rules, labeling, marking, packing transportation, storage and callback of nuts and seeds food.

T/CNFIA 005 Nuts and Seeds Food Quality Grade Group Standards cover the following 10 products:

Part 1: Raw dry walnut (T/CNFIA 005.1-2019)

Part 2: Raw dry Badam nuts and kernels (T/CNFIA 005.2-2019)

Part 3: Raw dry pecans (T/CNFIA 005.3-2019)

Part 4: Raw dry macadamia nuts and kernels (T/CNFIA 005.4-2019)

Part 5: Raw dry pistachios (T/CNFIA 005.5-2019)

Part 6: Raw dry cashew nuts (T/CNFIA 005.6-2019)

Part 7: Raw dry hazelnuts (T/CNFIA 005.7-2019)

Part 8: Raw dry pits and almonds (T/CNFIA 005.8-2019)

Part 9: Raw dry pine nuts (T/CNFIA 005.9-2019)

Part 10: Raw dry sunflower seeds (T/CNFIA 005.10-2019)

The standards are drafted and formulated in more than two years under joint effort of the entire industry, and gather technological strength of the industry. The official release and implementation of the standards not only make up insufficiencies of current standards in China but also effectively link with international standards. The standards could guide imported raw materials and domestic raw materials plantation, procurement, production, processing and marketing, and nuts and seeds food procurement, acceptance, storage and transportation to follow standards, control product quality from the source, maintain legal rights of consumers and enterprises, and guarantee industrial development effectively and provide quality nuts and roasted seeds food to consumers.

Responsible drafting bodies of standards are CNSA, SUMLUM IMPORT AND EXPORT CO., LTD, Foshan Yufeng Hengle Food Co., Ltd., Foshan Liushe Food Co., Ltd., Hengnan Tongxinyuan Nuts Food Co., Ltd., Heshan Dongyuan Food Co., Ltd., ChaCheer Food Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Senwang Xiyu Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Meihekou Pine Nuts Association, Yanbian Hongsong Food Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Huiji Food Co., Ltd.

Participating drafting bodies of standards are Three Squirrels, Shanghai Laiyifen, Haomusi Foodstuff Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Yaoshengji Food, Xianyang Rainbow Trade and Food Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Lin’an Hang Faction Food Ltd.
