As the 12th China-Northeast Asia Expo curtains up, the unique exhibition venue of Meihekou is particularly arresting.

It is learned on site that Meihekou City invited the China Cuisine Association to develop 108 cuisines of pine nuts in order to create the cuisine culture of Meihekou by taking the time opportunity of the “Belt and Road” and “Northeast Area Revitalization Plan” and improve competitiveness of pine nut food industry of the city. Now, the city has passed application and on-site review stage, and is expected to release R&D results of the 108 pine nuts cuisines on Sept. 8 through Sept. 10. Meihekou City will be honored with the title of “China Landmark City for Pine Nuts Food”. The models of 13 cuisines from the total 108 cuisines to be released are displayed on the booth, respectively stewed large meatballs with pine nuts, perch and mandarin fish fermented with pine nuts, and red bean paste and pine nut ball. Various taste samples are provided on site with pine nuts as raw materials to audiences.
