2019 is the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, and also the key year for China to alleviate poverty and build a moderately well-off society in an all-round way. Not long ago, China Poverty Alleviation Award Selection and Commendation Office released Announcement on Winning Advanced Individuals and Advanced Units of 2019 China Poverty Alleviation Awards. Through multiple procedures and level-by-level selection, totally 140 advanced individuals and advanced units won the awards.

The day of Oct. 17 is the sixth China Poverty Alleviation Day, and also the 27th International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Yu Ruifen, the President of Shanghai Laiyifen Co., Ltd., won China Poverty Alleviation Contribution Award. In receng years, the poverty alleviation work of the country and the government focuses on “targeted poverty alleviation”. President Yu built a new industrial for urban settlement of rural crops through industrial poverty alleviation in combination of the nature of the Company, and made contribution to agricultural product plantation development, farmers’ income increase as well as rural industry and farmers. In the past ten years, the value of agricultural products sold by Laiyifen has exceeded RMB35 billion, in which RMB 1.4 billion is from poverty-stricken area. The unique industrial targeted poverty alleviation way is developed.
