Xinjiang Walnuts Exported to Europe in the Large Quantity for the First time by China State Railway Express

At 13:10 on the 25th day, a freight train carrying 44 carriages of walnuts and walnut kernels slowly left China State Railway Express Assembly Center in the Urumqi International Inland Dry Port and is expected to arrive at the Port of the Mersin, Turkey in 18-20 days. This is the Opening Ceremony for the transfer from the “Hotan - Kashi - Urumqi combined freight train” to China State Railway Express, and it is also first time Xinjiang walnuts are exported to the international market in the large quantities.

The exported walnuts and walnut kernels all come from the Hotan, Kashi, Aksu and other southern Xinjiang regions. Xinjiang Guoye Group has entrusted Xinjiang Sino-European Joint Logistics Co., Ltd. to carry out the international freight transportation.

The second walnut freight train is scheduled to open in January 2020 and continue to export to Turkey.
