Investors ask for online celebrities for marketing and Chacha Food hires Luo Yonghao

 

In the evening of April 1, Luo Yonghao was selling products from multiple manufacturers including Chacha through live video streaming on Tik Tok.

Public data shows main products of Chacha Food are nuts, roasted seeds, and baked snack food. Through years of development, its production line becomes abundant, and products such as Chacha sunflower seeds, Chacha Kazhicui crisps and Chacha Xiaoerxiang watermelon seeds are launched successfully.

In the beginning of 2020 when Li Jiaqi and Wei Ya sold products of A-share companies frequently through live video streaming, some investors asked Chacha to sell products through online celebrities. Some investors messaged Chacha Food, “in the year-end peak season, our competitors such as Three Squirrels and Be & Cherry inputted greatly into live streaming sales; famous online celebrities such as Li Jiaqi and Viya almost sold their products every night… although Chacha hired online celebrities to sell products, the number is much fewer and frequency is much lower than that of competitors. It will be ineffective to input more into live streaming sales after the Spring Festival. Therefore, we wish the Board Secretary to tell the Chairman to input more into live streaming sales without hesitation.” 

At 4:10pm on April 1, Chacha Food released a message on its official WeChat account that the first brand of nuts and roasted seeds products that Luo Yonghao has ever sold through live streaming is Chacha’s daily nuts of small yellow bag.
