According to Kunming customs, as of September 29, this year, 13 batches of Yangbi walnuts have exported to Vietnam, a breakthrough in exporting wolunts from Dali.

Walnuts are the national geographical indication products of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, and Yangbi Yi Autonomous County is Dali's core walnut production area. Yangbi special product - Dapao walnut is one of the best walnut varieties in southern China, as well as one of the major exported walnut varieties of China, featuring large fruits, thin shells, white cores, sweet taste, high kernel rate. In 1995, Yangbi County was awarded the “Hometown of the Chinese Walnuts" by the State Council.

China is now a major walnut supplier in the international market, and walnuts with shells are mainly sold to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Pakistan. Shelled walnuts are exported mainly to Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Japan.
