At present, Three
Squirrels places higher hope on offline channels. “We could create new brand
online, but a complete business loop cannot be developed without offline.”
Zhang Liaoyuan, Chairman of Three Squirrels said. In specific, online sales is
not only a channel but also a platform to realize user interaction and
accessibility. Once the brand and product cognition is established, a stable
sales closed loop will be formed by offline channel layout.
For online channel,
Zhang said “by 2020, we expect online and offline sales will be of half and
half structure, while the online sales probably show the situation of three
giants, respectively Alibaba, JD and new e-commerce”. It is learnt that among
new e-commerce platforms, Tik Tok platform sold RMB182 million in 2021 New
Year’s Shopping Festival, and live-streaming sales reached RMB100 million;
Pinduoduo tried customized commodities in the first quarter of 2021, realizing
income of over RMB50 million; community group buying entered channels of
Meituan Youxuan, Duoduo Maicai and Chengxin Youxuan, covering nearly 30 cities
in 15 provinces. It realized income of nearly RMB10 million.
