Recently, Yao Xiaohua, Director of National Forestry and Grassland Administration Walnuts Project Center and Chief Expert in China pecans industry surveyed Changfeng country for development situations of pecans industry accompanied by Gong Ming, Chief Expert of pecans in Anhui Province. They visited growing bases of some enterprises in Changfeng County, and carried out in-depth communication on development of pecans industry with persons in charge of relevant enterprises. The person in charge of forestation of County Natural Resources and Planning Bureau introduced pecans development situations of subsidy policies of the county. Yao and other experts showed sufficient affirmation to development of pecans industry and put forward suggestion on business management and industrial chain extension. The first is to focus on seedling quality, and control seedling quality from sources; the second is to pay attention to refined management and improve yield and economic benefits; the third is to emphasize variety selection and guarantee nut quality; the fourth is to devise product deep processing and extend industrial products chain. With advice on pecan industry in Changfeng County, experts further drive high-quality development of the industry.
