Lin’an District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province is one of the major places
of origin of pecans in China. Nearly 150,000 growers in the west area of
Linan live on pecans. With development, Lin’an pecans industry faces multiple
problems such as difficult ecological treatment, disease and pesticide
prevention, quality control and agricultural and forestry fund turnover. How
to push healthier development of pecans industry and make growers benefit
more? Relying on digital rural development, Lin’an District initially created
pecans industry brain, built digital demonstration base, deployed sensors for
pesticide, soil and weather information, and connected online e-commerce
platform, food safety supervision platform and quality monitoring platform.
So far, the district has collected over 8 million pieces of data in the
entire industrial chain, covering 33 major growers, 262 cooperatives, 250
processing factories, 80 association member enterprises and 763 dried fruit
sellers, and preliminarily realized digital energization of the entire
industrial chain. |
