On Sept. 3, GB 2763-2021 National Food Safety Standard --- Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food released jointly by National Health Commission, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and State Administration for Market Regulation was put into effect officially, which surrogates GB 2763-2019 National Food Safety Standard --- Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food.

It is learned that 10092 items of maximum residue limit of 564 pesticides in 376 types food are regulated in GB2763-2021. Compared to 2019 version, except structural adjustment and editorial change, some main technologies are changed in the GB2763-2021 standard.
