Recently, Xinjiang Kashi Prefecture, known as “Hometown of Pecans in China”, ushers in harvest season recently. The golden color pecans are ready to get harvested by growers.

Local people said predicted per mu yield of pecans this year is nearly 200kg. The high yield is benefited from support and help of local government to growers about fertilizer and pesticides during cultivation period to guarantee goods earnings of growers.

To reach scale industry and scientific management, local government offered continuous technical training about fruit tree management and integrated pest management to growers in recent years to guide growers for reasonable and scientific fruit trees management.
