The 2021 Sept. 17 China Nuts Health
Week, guided by CNSA, organized by the China Nuts Health Week Organizing
Committee, organized by Beijing Zhongjian Heguo Information Technology
Service Co., Ltd. and co-organized by Three Squirrels was held from Oct. 24 to
Oct. 25, 2021 in Wuhu, Anhui Province. Enterprises engaged in plantation, raw
materials, processing, equipment and additives of national nuts and roasted
seeds industry, full channel purchasers, industrial associations, and
government representatives as well as representatives of Sept. 17 nuts
consumer experience officers and media, including over 1000 persons, attended
the event. More than twenty million person-times in total participated in the
Sept.17 China Nuts Health Week event online and offline. The event gained
great success and rich outcomes. The success owes to endeavors of the entire
industry, as well as great support and active participation of people from
all sectors of the society. The Sept. 17 Event aims to spread the
idea of “a handful of nuts a day are good for your health” and “Nuts and
seeds are healthy food with fixed portion for every person everyday”. The
following highlights were shown in the event this year: |
I. Authoritative information: the nuts and roasted seeds
consumption market of China will usher in five major changes in next 3-5 years.
1. From “advancing” to “settling”
2. From snack food to ingredients.
3. From terminal to accessories
4. From gifts for holidays to routine food
5. From front end to rear end.
II. With high concern of all sectors of the society and
the entire industry, over 300 million person-times participated in the event.
The information is extensive and durable, and strength, width and depth of
spreading and publicity is highly improved.
On the opening ceremony of Sept. 17 event, over 100 media
from all over the country revealed the ceremony situations by various forms,
and successively released nearly one hundred reports forwarded by e-commerce
platform media such as Tmall, Juhuasuan, official website of the industry,
WeChat and Weibo of well-known brands. The event became the hot point and
highlight for social concern of the Sept.17 event. What is worth mentioning is
that the buzz words such as “have some new nuts” created during Sept.17 China
Nuts Health Week gained 67 million views on Weibo, 28.23 million video view
counts, and 180,000 actual flows on Little Red Book. All of the above make
Sept. 17 event become the hot point that the entire society concerned.
III. The event hired 100 Sept.17 Consumer Experience
Officers from the society through cross-border cooperation.
It is the first time that the industry
cooperated with Pepsi. The organizer, as well as Pepsi and nearly 40 nuts and
roasted seeds enterprise, jointly held the third “Sept.17 Nuts Consumer
Experience Officer” selection activity. The organizer attracted nearly 20
million person-times visitors through Tik Tok, Weibo and WeChat public account,
and totally received nearly 300 pictures and videos made for innovative eating
way of nuts and nuts processing.
IV. “China Nuts, Roasted Seeds and Dried Fruits Full
Channel Selection, Purchase & Supply Fair” was held for the first time,
springing up products with numerous new flavors and new packages, which are
publicly received by purchasers.
Nearly 500 types of nuts, roasted seeds and dried fruit
products from 130 enterprises were on show. The products are greatly improved
than those in last year in aspects of label, identification, quality and
tastes, particularly in flavor innovation. The products are highly praised by
industrial experts and judges of online and offline channels.
V. During national consumption experience period (Sept.
17 to Sept. 25), abundant online and offline consumer experience activities
started a craze for national consumption experience. Sales volume of nuts and
seeds rose steadily.
1. Online consumption experience: Online activities of
Sept. 17 China Nuts Health Week were carried out around four new trends of
flavored nuts, function addition, quality upgrade and table nuts innovation,
and spread in combination with IP such as Tmall food category day, Juhuasuan
50% off day. The overall impacts exceeded 90 million, with great achievements.
The event provided all-around healthy consumption experience for nuts and seeds
to consumers.
2. Offline consumption experience: Offline activities for direct participation and experience of consumers are emerging. The best-selling daily nuts and everyday nuts are still popular; meanwhile, products with new flavors are in hot sale. According to incomplete statistics, the online and offline sales income during Sept. 17 China Nuts Health Week experienced steady rise.
