It is reported from Tieling Modern Agriculture Service Center that all quality safety inspection items of “Tieling Hazelnut ” comply with standards after sample inspection; the heavy metal and pesticide residue items comply with national standards for food safety.

In order to guarantee quality safety of geographical indication products, and make the brand of “Tieling Hazelnut ” popular, Tieling Modern Agriculture Service Center entrusted Liaoning Tongzheng Testing Co., Ltd. to apply sample inspection on quality characteristics and quality safety to hazelnut produced from six enterprises and cooperatives with “Tieling Hazelnut ” geographical indication mark. Totally 27 testing samples are inspected, and the percent of pass of quality safety indexes is 100%.

The inspection results show Tieling hazelnut products are safe, green and high-nutrient nuts for consumers.
