In the news conference of Hubei Province for Aid-for-Tibet held the other day, the person in charge of the Tibetan Plateau Walnut Industry Institute of Yangtze University announced they have tackled the grafting technology for plateau walnuts, and the survival rate of grafting exceeded 80%.

From March 2021, researchers concerned carried out summer budding tests, pesticide condition survey and continuous follow-up observation during the phenological period in Gyaca County, Shannan City, and achieved multiple outcomes including “grafting survival rate of plateau walnuts exceeded 80%”.
