Recently, the Hubei Technology Exchange organized experts from the provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Provincial Forestry Science and Guangzhou Center, Hubei University and other units to evaluate the research results of "Resource utilization and large-scale breeding of Carya illinoensis" hosted by the Hubei Academy of Forestry, agreeing that the overall scientific and technological achievements have reached the international advanced level.

At present, the scientific research project is jointly studied by the Hubei Academy of Forestry, Nanjing Forestry University and Huangshan Forestry Institute. At present, and it has obtained 5 patents and 2 computer software Copyrights, approved 2 improved varieties, 2 recognized results, published 1 local standard, and published 25 papers.
