At 9:00am on March 15, the preparatory meeting for China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development Alliance & Hazel Alliance was held in the meeting room of Tieling Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources. Director Wang Li, deputy directors Cai Lishan and Sun Wei, members of the preparatory meeting of Hazel Alliance, president and vice president of Hazel Alliance, and representatives of enterprises and co-operatives attended the meeting by video conference.

At the end of March of the previous year, Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China determined Tieling City to take the lead in setting up China Nuts and Seeds Industry Development Alliance & Hazel Alliance. As instructed by the relevant leaders of the Municipal Government, the preparatory work will be carried out by the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Hazel Industry Association. After two meetings in April and October of the previous year between the relevant personnel of the Preparatory Committee and chairman Weng Yangyang of the Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China, it was decided to hold the inauguration ceremony at the 16^th China Nuts and Roasted Seeds Exhibition in Hefei, Anhui Province on June 8.
