On September 19th, the official website of the General Administration of Customs released a notice relaxing the requirements for the import of fresh blueberries from Zambia. This notice allows for the implementation of cold treatment during transportation of the blueberries.

The announcement states the cold treatment requirements for blueberries in Zambia as follows: 15 days of continuous cold treatment at 1.11 °C or below, 17 days of continuous cold treatment at 1.67 °C or below, or 21 days of continuous cold treatment at 2.22 °C or below.
