Fenyang, Shanxi Province is a well-known walnut planting base, export base, processing and distribution center. In recent years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, Fenyang has given full play to its advantages as a processing and distribution center for characteristic agricultural products, and the export of walnut has enjoyed strong growth momentum and further extended its export market. So far, Fenyang walnut has been exported to 63 countries.
In order to help Fenyang walnut go to the world, Jinyang Customs "send policy to the door", explain the relevant policies of registration, export customs clearance process, customs supervision and other for enterprises, guide enterprises to complete online origin declaration operations, optimize business processes, and compress the record time of export food production enterprises. Up to now, the export walnut production enterprises registered in Jinyang Customs have reached 23.
Since the beginning of this year, Jinyang Customs has implemented the action plan of "Breakthrough Year of high-quality Service Development" to further optimize the business environment. Through "5+2" scheduled inspection, territorial inspection and green channels and other facilitation measures, reduce the cost of customs clearance for enterprises, strengthen the link between inspection and release, ensure that export agricultural products are accompanied by inspection, and reduce customs clearance time.
At the same time, the customs promotes the territorial inspection business management system and the "cloud issuance" mode of inspection and quarantine certificate to improve efficiency; Strengthen the annual safety risk monitoring of export walnuts, urge enterprises to establish and implement a food safety management system, guide enterprises to improve the level of quality and safety management, and consolidate the main responsibility of enterprises.
"The walnut export has not only strengthened the enterprise's integration with the international community, but also further promoted Shanxi's characteristic agricultural products to the international market." Jinyang Customs deputy commissioner Wei Rong said. According to statistics, from January to May this year, enterprises in Jinyang Customs area exported more than 17,000 tons of walnut and walnut products, with a value of more than 54 million US dollars.
