It is understood that in the first April, Xinjiang's fruit exports involved walnuts, fresh grapes, raisins, sinian wood, apples, pears, red dates, peaches and other 11 varieties, of which the largest export amount for walnuts, up to 369 million yuan; Followed by pear, the export value of 110 million yuan; Fresh grapes ranked third, with an export value of 100 million yuan.

From the perspective of export destinations, in the first April, Xinjiang fruits were mainly exported to Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East and other countries and regions, such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. Raisins and dates were also sold to Japan, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany and other countries. The scope has been further expanded.

Forestry and fruit industry is a characteristic and advantageous industry in Xinjiang. Since the beginning of this year, Xinjiang has focused on the high-quality development of the forest and fruit industry, and constantly explored the export channels of fruit by improving the quality of fruit, increasing the number of export registered orchards, and expanding the strength of forest and fruit export enterprises, and fruit exports cover 31 countries and regions.

The three-dimensional transportation network in Xinjiang has become increasingly perfect, providing transport capacity support for fruit exports. At present, Xinjiang's railway mileage exceeds 9,000 kilometers, covering all prefectures and cities. The total mileage of highways is more than 220,000 kilometers, and all prefectures and cities are connected to expressways; 25 transport airports have been built and put into operation.

This year, Xinjiang issued the "Fiscal and Financial Support Policy for the High-quality Development of Grain, Cotton, Fruit and Livestock Agricultural Characteristic Industries in the Autonomous Region in 2024" to strengthen the top-level design and promote the high-quality development of the forest and fruit industry from the aspects of capital, projects, standards, policies, business environment, and institutional innovation. In the next step, Xinjiang will take the goal of building a green organic fruit and vegetable industry cluster forest fruit industry chain as the goal, encourage and support forest fruit enterprises to establish branches and set up warehouses in foreign countries, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with foreign advanced enterprises in forest fruit seedling cultivation, planting, processing, sales, brand building and other aspects, continue to promote the modernization of forest fruit industry, and constantly explore the international market.
