According to the data released by the Bulgarian National Bureau of Statistics on December 20, subject to the preliminary estimate of the Bulgarian National Institute of Agricultural Economic Accounting, the total output value of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture in 2021 is 10,421.7 million BGN, an increase of 32.4% compared with 2020.

Compared with 2020, the output value of crops increased by 46.8%, the output increased by 24.4% and the price increased by 18.1%. Except vegetables, the output of major crops grew significantly, mainly due to favorable climatic conditions. Grain output increased the most, by 35.3%. Compared with the same period of the previous year, in 2021, the output value of animal husbandry increased slightly by 2%, the output increased by 3% and the price increased by 1%.
