According to the report of the Daily Sun of Bangladesh on December 19, from July to November in the financial year of Bangladesh, the agricultural products and exports of Bangladesh reached USD 556.46 million dollars, an increase of 24.37% compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year. According to the latest statistics of Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), the export of agricultural products in the last fiscal year from July to November was USD 447.42 million dollars. In the last fiscal year, the export of agricultural products in Bangladesh exceeded the milestone of USD 1 billion dollars for the first time. The goal set by the government of Bangladesh is to export agricultural products of USD 1,109.2 million in this fiscal year. According to the EPB statistics Bangladesh’s key export commodities include vegetables, tea, flowers, fruits, spices, tobacco and processed foods. Bangladesh has made remarkable progress in the export of processed foods, including biscuits, cakes, peas and nuts, etc.
