In 2021, China's imports of Brazilian soybeans fell by 10% year-on-year

According to the data released by China Customs on January 20, the amount of soybeans imported by China from Brazil in 2021 decreased compared with the previous year, while the amount of soybeans exported by the US to China increased.

China is the world's largest importer of soybeans. In 2021, Brazil exported 58.15 million tons of soybeans to China, down 9.5% from 64.28 million tons in 2020. But on the other, China imported 32.3 million tons of U.S. soybeans, up 25% from 25.89 million tons in 2020.
