Africa Financial News Agency, a Swiss media, reported on February 14, 2022 that according to the data of N'Kalô, an African agricultural and food trade consulting platform, the output of cashew in West Africa reached 267500 tons in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 43%. This also shows that the processing capacity of the cashew industry in the region has been significantly improved. Among them, the output of cashew in Côte d'Ivoire is the largest, reaching 144500 tons, accounting for more than 50% of the output in the whole region. Other countries with large outputs are Nigeria, which was 68000 tons, Burkina Faso, which was 17000 tons and Ghana, which was 15000 tons.
