According to the Cashew Nut Association of Cambodia, recently, a Korean company visited the Agricultural Bureaus of Kratie, Stung Treng and Kompong Thom provinces through World Share Cambodia to research the project of supporting and processing cashews, that is, to build a cashew packaging and purchasing factory for export to South Korea and the United States.

Wu Xilu, president of Cashew Nut Association of Cambodia, pointed out that the research of above-mentioned company has not yet been completed and is currently in progress. He pointed out that, above-mentioned organization recently visited the Agricultural Bureaus of three provinces for research, among which relevant officials from the Industrial Crops Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries also supported them. In addition, the Korean company and the organization also met with branch representatives of the Cashew Nut Association in three provinces and visited the cashew plantations in various communities.
