Australia's Macadamia nuts production fell, but China's production was significant

Although Australia's Macadamia nuts production was affected by floods this year, China will soon become one of the major Macadamia nuts producers. Inflation, coupled with geopolitical tensions, is depressing demand, and prices in Europe are also rising. Most producing countries are harvesting nuts, and the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (Inc) expects global production to increase by 10%. The output of Macadamia nuts with shell will be between 270000 and 275000 tons. In particular, China's output of Macadamia nuts  shells this year may reach 50000 tons. Antares Commodities pointed out that if this trend continues, China will become the world's largest producer of Macadamia in 2023.
