July 12 – Eurostat in its latest report said announced that Iran exported €64.228 million worth of high-quality pistachio to Europe in the first four months of the current year in 2022, lower than 75.597 million euros in the same period of 2021. During this period, Iran's export value of pistachio with shell hit €27.456 million, recording a 43 percent decline as compared to the same period of last year. But pistachio nut export value to Europe hit €36.772 million, showing a 36 percent growth as compared to the same period of last year. Germany, Spain, and Italy were the main importers of Iranian pistachio in this period.
