The latest report from the Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE), Bolivian’s peanut exports have more than doubled over the past 10 years, from $7 million in 2012 to $16 million in 2021.
Chile's "PortalPortuario" website reported on October 5 that the report also said that from January 2012 to July 2022, Bolivian peanut exports totaled 107 million US dollars, with exports of 110,000 tons. During this period, the Andean Community State (Comunidad Andina) was the main buyer of peanuts in Bolivia.
In addition, according to the 2021 data, the top three provinces in Bolivia in terms of flower production are: Tarija (52%), Santa Cruz (23%) and Chuquisaca (19%)
