Brazil estimates that it will export 6.716 million tons of corn in December 2022, higher than the 5.43 million tons estimated last week, according to the Brazilian Association of Grain Exporters (ANES).

Brazil mainly exports corn in the second half of the year, and competes with US corn in the global market.

In 2022, Brazil's corn export will reach 43.88 million tons, higher than 20.615 million tons in 2021.  

Last week, ANEC predicted that Brazil's corn exports would reach a record of 42.596 million tons in 2022, surpassing the record of just over 41 million tons in 2019.
