Dimitri N. Rylko, general director of the Russian Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR), expressed that Russia may become the global leader for the export of sunflower seed oil in this quarter.

According to the estimation of Russian Institute for Agricultural Market Studies, Russia may harvest approximately 28  million tons of oil seeds this quarter (compared with 24.8 million tons last quarter), and as for the export of sunflower seed oil, it may reach 3.9 million tons (compared with 3.1 million tons last quarter).
