According to a news release from the Russian Federation Animal and Plant Health Supervision Bureau, Buryatia, Russia has exported several shipments of pine nuts to China since the start of 2023. The total weight of these shipments is 5985 tons, which is double the amount exported during the same period in 2022.

The bureau pointed out that the products have successfully passed the plant quarantine inspection and fully comply with China's plant quarantine requirements.

The news shows that Buryatia imports pine nuts from other parts of Russia, while Buryat exports the goods to the Chinese market.

Buryatia is part of the Russian Far East Federal District. In addition to pine nuts, it also exports wood and wood products, mineral products, and various equipment and appliances to China.
