The Rosario Grain Exchange in Argentina recently reported that, according to statistics from the Argentine Grain Trading System, the sales volume of Argentine soybeans (including industrial procurement and exports) has reached 12 million tons since 2023. This represents a decrease of 17 million tons compared to the previous year and an average decrease of 17 million tons compared to the past five years. Due to the sudden drop in production caused by the drought, the sales volume of soybeans this year has reached 60% of the annual production. This figure is 6 percentage points higher than the previous year and is equal to the average sales volume of the past 5 years.
