In the first quarter of 2024, Cambodia exported 424,000 tons of raw cashew nuts to Vietnam, with a total export value of approximately 543 million US dollars, representing a year-on-year increase of 13%.

According to Uon Silot, the Chairman of the Cambodian Cashew Association (CCA), Cambodia produced 474,000 tons of raw cashew nuts from January to March 2024. Out of these, 424,000 tons were exported to Vietnam, with a total export value of approximately 543 million US dollars, indicating a year-on-year increase of 13%.

The President of the Cambodian Cashew Association also stated that, as of April 2024, the price of fresh cashew nuts in Cambodia has risen to around $1.25 per kilogram, the highest price in nearly 15 years.
